IntraCoastal Construction Invests in 2026 Equipment & Field Upgrades
New Komatsu D39PXi Dozer and Branded Jobsite Containers Reflect Continued Growth
Charleston, SC — IntraCoastal Construction is kicking off 2026 with strategic investments designed to strengthen field performance and reinforce its presence across the Lowcountry. The company has added a new Komatsu D39PXi bulldozer to its fleet and deployed newly branded jobsite containers to active and upcoming projects.
The Komatsu D39PXi, known for its intelligent Machine Control (iMC) technology, increases grading precision, production efficiency, and jobsite safety. The investment aligns with IntraCoastal’s commitment to delivering high-performance site development services across residential, commercial, and municipal projects.

The decision to purchase the D39PXi followed an in-field demonstration led by Logan Hivner, General Superintendent, who recognized the machine’s production advantages and long-term value.
“After demoing the dozer, it was clear this machine would raise our capabilities in the field,” said Hivner. “The intelligent grading technology increases accuracy and reduces rework, which helps us maintain schedule and quality at the same time. It’s a strong addition to our fleet.”
In addition to the equipment upgrade, IntraCoastal has introduced newly logoed jobsite containers that enhance organization, storage efficiency, and brand visibility across project locations.
